I'm Emma Reynolds, a Portrait Photographer based in Baton Rouge and Ascension Parish! I love being creative and thinking outside the box. I also love pretty much anything regarding vibrance, uniqueness, and sentiment. I am very passionate about every element of photography, and I think that shows through my work. I specialize in Portraits, including Lifestyle, Senior, Weddings, Branding, and more!
Since childhood, I've always had a camera in my hand, whether I was videoing or taking photos! When I was 14, I got my first DSLR camera and my passion for photography only grew from there. While I was in High School, I slowly began to build my photography portfolio and started charging for photo shoots. High school and college art courses, shadowing photographers in my local community, and personal experience has shaped me into the photographer I am today. Since 2021, I have become an official full-time photographer, and I could not be more thrilled!
Photography is something I've been passionate about for as long as I can remember. I care about my clients as much as I care about getting the perfect shot! I strive to make my clients' experiences exciting and stress-free, and their photos timeless and extraordinary. I prefer to guide my clients through the planning and photographing process —rather than take total control— to help bring their visions to life.

What If I Want More/Less Than What Your Packages Offer?
No problem! You can contact/email me and we can create your very own package catered specifically to your photo session needs.
I Am Not Good At Posing, Will You Direct Me?
Not everyone is a natural in front of the camera, but you don't have to be to look great in your photographs! Most of the people I photograph aren't professional models and I have helped them pose in many of their photos. I will guide you throughout the photo session to help you look your best without making you feel awkward, or the poses feel forced.
How much Retouching Do You Do?
I only remove/change things that are not permanent to you. Acne, bruises, bumps, and any other marks that are not permanent I will retouch to even out your skin and make it look soft. Apart from that, I edit the exposure and tones (colors) of the images, but I stay true to your skin tone. I refrain from making my clients' skin lighter/darker than how it already is.
Do You Send RAW/Unedited Files?
The only unedited photos I send out are in the form of proofs for you to select the images you want me to retouch. Those photos are not meant to be saved, shared, or distributed. Apart from that, no, I do not send out RAW files or unretouched images. When we work together, you are choosing me for my work on camera as well as in post, lots of work and care goes into making your photos look stunning!
What's Your Payment Structure?
In order to secure your photo session and date, a nonrefundable deposit (20% of the agreed upon price) will be due within one week of booking. The rest of the payment will be due the day of the photoshoot. However, if this payment structure is an issue for you let me know and we can work out a different agreement.
How Far In Advance Should I Book?
I typically book clients at least 3-4 weeks in advance. That way we will have plenty of time to plan and get outfits/props/etc. However, if you're looking to book a sooner date, no worries! If you're in need of some quick photos just contact/email me and I can check my availability.
Do You Travel?
Yes, I do! However, certain locations may require an additional travel fee depending on the distance.
How Long Do I Have To Wait To Get My Proofs and Image Gallery?
I send out the proofs from the session within one week after they have been taken. Once you decide which photos you want to keep/have retouched, it typically takes 2-3 weeks for me to retouch and deliver them all.
What Happens If I Need To Reschedule Or Cancel?
Sometimes things happen and we need to reschedule, or even cancel. If for any reason you need to reschedule the photo session, let me know as soon as possible, and we can move it to another day. I will not charge any additional fees. If for any reason you have to cancel the photo session, you will not get back your deposit. However, if something comes up on my end, and I have to cancel the photo session, you will get your deposit back.
